In a setting, not far from the church of Saint Giovanni, rising at front of town square Palazzo Spina of the 12th century ,you'll find the Scala restaurants Antico Borgo.
The atmosphere is familiar, comfortable, and the cooking founded on local culinary traditions, using fresh ingredients specific to each season and produced by community farmers.
Here the pasta dough is made by hand on site. The food is
delectable!
Enjoy also local vegetables and meats, rabbit, and lamb, and cheeses of the region, and then finish with good wine "and truly the best wines of the country with a marvelous panoramic view." Not to be missed, the best pizza made whith whole grain flour.

Despite the location not very close to the sea, this restaurant is well known for excellent choices of fish food. Family-run place with warm hospitality.
The Villa Guisseppina had a terrace overlooking the pool where lunchtime snacks and meals were availble.
This is a family concern, staffed by three generations of the owners family. They grow all their own food, make their own fresh pasta (southern Italy generally uses mass-produced dry pasta) and believe me it was wonderful and even grow the grapes for the wine.
