"Costa Diva" is an association that was founded in Year 1999, after the tourist-cultural guidelines were created - "Costa Diva - Le vie del cinema (The Roads of the cinema)".

These guidelines were promoted by "Comunit� Montana Penisola Amalfitana" to increase the value of natural film sets created along the Amalfi Coast by, film directors, actors/actresses and celebrities from all around the world (Roberto Rossellini, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Roman Polanski, Marcello Mastroianni, Humphrey Bogart, Anna Magnani, Ingrid Bergman and many more). These restaurants, selected as the best from the Coast, have decided to enhance these guidelines with additional improvements for customers. Above and beyond the usual warm hospitality and the high quality cuisine - inline with local tradition, specialities are recommended, inside their menu, with names of dishes that relate to characters who have made history in cinema's along the Amalfi Coast.

For this reason, the restaurant "Alfonso a Mare" has created "La Consuelita", a typical dish that has taken the name of the character played by "Francesca Bertini" in a movie that was filmed in the restaurant of Alfonso a Mare.

The cocktail bar offers a selection of cocktails, fine wine, snacks, fresh fruit and gelati. The staff is friendly and efficient, the indoor space is pleasantly colourful, and very comfortable.

Le Fioriere also offers breakfast in the mornings, and a selection of tea, and hot chocolate for the afternoon.
