Amalfi Coast Nightlife! The Fun Begins When the Sun Goes Down!
Well, my 14 year old daughter informed me this morning that I was missing information on Amalfi Coast nightlife and she was right! How could I forget about that? Perhaps having this cast on my foot took dancing and romance right out of my head! I love to dance, especially with someone I love! (taking applications) but seriously, I want to list information for you now about your nightlife options.
Music on the Rocks
Can you say AMAZING? or INCREDIBLE? Then you must be at "Music on the Rocks" in Positano! Here is a photo taken recently...

This club is 2 stories high on a sheer cliff face! One of which contains a quieter piano bar. It's owned by the same man who owns the chic Chez Black. Extraordinary! Everyone dresses impeccibly and the night I was there, I did not see one person get drunk! The drinks were
expensive but with that view and that atmosphere...well worth it! The music is great and the crowd is young and fun. We heard the same mix of techo, hip-hop and popular club music we hear at clubs in the USA. Music on the Rocks has an open-air quality (no windows, just open walls that look out over the sea) which is very inviting. Surrounding the dance floor are sofas and chairs for relaxing and checking out the scene. From the beach, you can hear the music playing all night long. A great place to people watch! Have a dance for me!
Con Winum Wine and Bar
Open April- October This is a wine bar, art gallery and internet cafe with live jazz on Friday and Saturday during the summer. A great place to enjoy your favorite wine and watch the beautiful people!
L'Africana

Local fishermen come in during the most frenzied peak of the dancing and dredge a sinkhole at the edge of the dance floor with nets, pulling up a catch of seafood for local restaurants. The contrast of new-age music with old-world folklore is as riveting as it is bizarre. The club dates back to the 60's, and is built inside of a cave that overlooks the ocean. Many chic guests from Positano arrive by boat. It opens nightly at around 10pm June to August, but only Friday and Saturday in May and September, and it is closed the rest of the year.
Amalfi Nightlife - Love is in the Air!
The Highlander Pub is the only Irish pub in Amalfi, and is located just behind the town hall in the piazza Municipio.

Via delle Repubbliche, 21 84011 Amalfi (SA) Phone: +39 089 872436. The Bar Sirena is one of the first bars that was opened in Amalfi. Sirena offers breakfast and snacks from the best Amalfitan tradition, as well as sports on TV, and Internet access. I love having the internet access!
The Bar Sirena has two wide terraces, one indoor terrace overlooking the sea and the main boulevard of Amalfi, and the other is an outdoor terrace in the shade.
The Sirena serves excellent breakfast, and light lunch, and it is an american bar in the evening. A perfect place for people to meet and spend some relaxing time together or just people watch. The choice is yours.
Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day - I can eat it at any time. My kids sometimes think I am nuts to go out to eat dinner and order eggs, bacon and toast...more like comfort food to me! How about you?
